“We can do anything, and I don't know that there's ever been another collection of people who can say that with such conviction.”
— Jean Bolte, Light & Magic {Kasdan, 2022}
I’d give anything to bottle what I felt after witnessing the magic of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, a film I watched for the first time atop my mother’s car under a sea of stars. No film has ever come close.
What I love most about attending Star Wars Celebration is the atmosphere. It is being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people who understand this thing we are all collectively influenced by. We may obsess over different facets of the galaxy far, far away, but we all have been touched by this decade-spanning saga in an unforgettable way. I would not be a photographer if it weren’t for my love of the Star Wars prequels and the impact they had on me at a very young age. I knew the moment the credits rolled on Revenge of the Sith {Lucas, 2005} I needed to do something with my life that would impact someone the way this film impacted me.
